The colors at this wedding were so fun and happy! Electric pinks, greens, blues, and yellows adorned the tables, chairs, and candy bar! I had so much fun making this cake! I think we (the bride, the groom, the brides mother, and myself), were all a little apprehensive to go with lime green on the cake. At first, they selected to go with an avocado green. However, as the wedding date came closer, they decided to go with lime green to better match the rest of the wedding colors.
I am sure happy that they decided to go with the lime green because it matched the happy decor perfectly! Such a fun design, for such a fun event!
This cake was made with the character, Fancy Nancy in mind! Nancy, believes that more is ALWAYS better when it comes to being fancy. From the top of her tiara down to her sparkly studded shoes, Nancy is determined to teach her family a thing or two about being fancy.
For your little princess, or "Fancy Nancy", this cake is sure to bring a smile to her face!

This cakes two bottom tiers were french vanilla cake with cream cheese buttercream. Top two tiers were carrot cake with cream cheese buttercream.
The bride preferred round cakes, and the groom preferred square cakes; so we compromised with two of each shape! Moss green ribbons to match the brides wedding colors, and lovely brooches in shades of green to adorn the center of the bows.

As a little girl, I always loved pretending that I was a princess in a beautiful castle. When requested to make a castle cake for a young girl turning 6, I was elated! Pinks, purples, sparkles, everything girlie, and of course, "everything chocolate" was the request... Such a fun cake to make for such a darling little girl!
